Hi Allison, I was just wondering how you were doing and more importantly when you will be returning back to work! You are SO missed and thought of quite often. My thoughts and prayers are with you in hopes for a full and speedy recovery and return. I miss you VERY much and I just hope that everything else in your world is ok! Take care and hope to hear from you soon at your earliest convienience! Love to you,Mark
Great to see your website. Miss seeing you on the midday news. Love reading your blogs. Please take care of yourself and hopefully we’ll see you back on the air soon.
We have enjoyed seeing you on WGN News in North Dakota. We miss seeing you and hearing your reporting of the news.
I am the person that sent you the box of pasta a few years ago when you were first out of camera.
Come back soon……………..we miss you.
Dear Allison,
I’m sorry to hear about your health issues and that you are leaving WGN. I wish you a speedy recovery and fulfillment of your dreams and future pursuits. Perhaps we will see you again at another of Tom’s parties. It’s always nice to see you there:)
Bless you,
Kris & Susan
Allison,
You were the reason why I watched WGN every night. You were (and are) the classiest woman news-anchor on tv. I wish nothing but the best for you in the future and hope that your health improves.
Allison,
As a member of the viewing audience, I never want you to go. You are so beautiful, poised, fun, and make me feel at home when watching the news, even when the news was anything but positive. Right…
Some will take the anchor chair, but nobody will ever replace you.
Know that you are in our prayers, know how much you mean to all of us.
I look forward to you bouncing back. I’m thinking that the ‘Windy City Live’ show needs to be replaced with a show named ‘The Lake.’ A regional show where Allison Payne co-hosts with other co-hosts bringing current events and news daily from Millenium Park, Door County, Port Washington, Illinois Beach State Park, Saugatuck, South Haven, Navy Pier, Traverse City, the Dunes, St. Joseph, Mackinac, Holland, Muskegon, Ludington and the S.S. Badger Ferry, and why not Minocqua, West Lafeyette, South Bend, St. Joseph, Kohler, Anderson Japanese Gardens, Lake Geneva, McCormick Place, Naperville, Long Grove, etc.
I expect to see you soon Allison, so please bounce back.
Allison~
I just read today in the paper and on Ch. 9 of your departure. You will be missed by myself and so many other loyal viewers! You are the reson I started watching Ch.9m in the first place. I wish you the best of health and your future endeavors, I hope that the viewers here in Chicago will be able to see your work or whatever it is that God has in store for you! Good luck and God bless you! Lori
